“Never was a standing ovation more richly deserved. Pavel Steidl had won the hearts and minds of a capacity crowd.” – Classical Guitar magazine
Since winning first prize at the Radio France International Competition in Paris in 1982, Czech guitarist Pavel Steidl has become one of the most widely celebrated soloists of his generation. In 1987, he emigrated to the Netherlands, where after years of study and inspiration, he created his own style, which incorporates both world music elements and authentic interpretation of 19th-century guitar literature on period instruments.

Also a composer, Pavel frequently performs his own works on his programs. He has performed in more than 40 countries, and was selected by the readers of the Italian magazine Guitart as the guitar player of the year for 2004.

“He is an exceptional guitarist … A member of the very small club of those who are outstanding in all three areas – improvising, interpreting, and composing.. …” – John Duarte, Guitar International

French guitarist Roland Dyens shares the joy of his musical talent through his performing, composing and teaching accross the world. This three-dimensional profile provides the basis for his phenomenal success and his ongoing evolution. Always transformative events, Roland’s concerts unfold as personal experiences of emotional awakening for the audience. For those who are unfamiliar with the contours and nuances of classical guitar performance, one often witnesses an inspirational discovery of the instrument and its musical potential. Roland has a sensitive and colorful approach to the guitar – an unfailing open-mindedness which brings together all forms of music to each and every one of his programs. His stage presence, his improvised openings and unique relationship with the listeners undeniably position him at the forefront of guitar performance today.
