As the year draws to a close, we at the NYCCGS look back at 2014 with the hope that you have valued and enjoyed our offerings. The International Artist and Salon concert series have showcased an outstanding roster of guitarists, and monthly Member Event presentations have explored a wide range of topics related to repertoire, performance, and technique, with the Open Mic an opportunity for players at every level. The NYC Guitar Orchestra, formed in 2010, is a success both as a performing ensemble and through its commissioning of works that are a real contribution to the repertoire.
In one of the country’s most expensive cities, we are committed to keeping our membership fees and ticket prices affordable for all, and the generosity of our supporters is vital to our ability to do so.
